What a delightfully creepy little novel. I definitely enjoy a Gothic novel. I loved this book because the narrator was
very unreliable and so you’re hearing everything from their perspective and you’re forced to question it but at the same time, Jackson is a
master of showing to The reader that the people inside the house as creepy as they may seem are not as scary as the people outside of the house who are afraid of them and bullying them. I definitely think it’s such an interesting book and that it keeps you hooked as you try to figure out what happened to this family and how certain people were murdered. It’s definitely worth a read.
