A Cliché Christmas by Nicole Deese

5.0

Wow! Just wow!

A successful but burnout Hollywood Christmas screenplay writer returns to her small hometown and runs into her childhood rival-turned-friend-turned-enemy (of sorts). Together, they put on a Christmas production fundraiser to raise money for a little girl’s cancer treatment.

I was expecting a story full of holiday charm & the sweetness of a Hallmark story, and it delivered in every way. BUT IT WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! The messages & themes packed a deep punch—enough to make me cry. Second chances, forgiveness, loneliness, faith over fear, and the truest meaning of unconditional love.

The banter and chemistry is electric, and you can’t help loving the characters! Plus, Weston’s use of Christmas nicknames for Georgia is hilarious!

It’s a heartwarming & moving holiday story I know I’ll be rereading again & again!
