My Take:
I must be in my single dad era, cause this is another one that hits all the right single dad spots! Lincoln Foxx just became my new favorite dad! I absolutely adored this book. Faye & Lincoln together? YES YES and YES. Faye has a past full of secrets, Lincoln has a grumpy heart that's soft only for his girls, Lily & Lark.....until Faye enters the picture. The chemistry that ignites between them is absolutely incredible. Add in the suspense, bourbon scenes, banter, the entire Foxx family and this book is one of my top favs!
Megan Wicks is a new to me narrator and I absolutely adored her performance of Faye. Her voice captured all of the emotions beautifully! Lee Samuels is another go to narrator for me. He did a phenomenal job voicing Lincoln. The energy he lent to bringing us this Swoonworthy Foxx brother was epic! I loved this narrator pairing so hard! This book/audiobook will live forever rent free in my heart!
