I absolutely adore this whole series! I will warn you that in this book our main character does come off as being a little whiny at first, but as the story progresses and he ages -keep in mind he is training for a large portion of this book- he becomes a much more enjoyable character. Definitely stick around until the end too because it really kicks off what the whole series is about. I promise they only get better from here.
