Forget Me Not by Q.B. Tyler

4.0

I wish this one hit as hard for me as it did everybody else! First of all, I was way too eager to forgive Bennett. Not only did he cheat once, but he went back twice more. That almost was enough to vote his ass off the island, but then we read his letter, and he was so in love with Olivia. I found it hard to even be mad at him- even after he held his truth about his memory from her. Olivia pushed him away, like their love wasn’t as grand as Bennett knew it was. And that is the reason why this didn’t get a high rating for me- I was so on Bennett’s side that Olivia’s anger, hurt, and just the way she argued, became annoying to me. By the end of the book I was frustrated with her, and I’m sure I’m probably alone in feeling that way! I mean, c’mon, she had lost her babies! I should have been right there emotionally with her.

Bennett’s love for Olivia was what made the book for me. I’m so happy that he was into our hurt heroine like his life depended on it. I was so worried that the other woman drama would break my heart and make the book hard to read, but that wasn’t the case. Bennett really was sorry, and he did everything he could to make it better.

As for rating it, I’m stuck between a 3.75 and a 4 star rating. It was almost what I needed it to be.
