How to Find Love in a Bookshop by Veronica Henry

Emilia was forced to abruptly leave work halfway across the globe to come home to Peasebrook to see her father for the last time. He was terminally ill. There was nothing the doctor or she could do. The only thing Emilia could do was promise that she will take over Nightingale Books and continue to run it.

After his death, she try very hard to be the best daughter she can be by taking over Nightingale Books but with piles of debt it was a tough job. Luckily her father was well loved and she got plenty of support from everyone. Along the way she found the love of her life and her true passion.

She wasn't the only one who found love through the bookshop. Customers also met their other half there. Thomasina, a shy culinary teacher met a guy who works in the cheese shop over books. She's super shy but cute and I love characters like her. I love people who like to eat and can cook amazing foods!

The bookshop also help reunited another couple, breaking off a bad couple and brought a family back together! Even though he originally came into the shop for other bad intentions. He ended up being a good guy.

Overall I really like all the characters however at times it's too much. There are too many characters to cover and sometimes I'm lost and can't keep track of whose voice I'm following. Otherwise it's well written and I did cry over a few scenes.

A job well done!
