Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood

5.0

Ok I'm officially bought in. I'm going to auto buy Ali Hazelwood books from here on our. I loved this and I lived the last few of hers I've read.

Elsie could really use some health insurance. And better pay. And fewer teaching jobs. And to quit her fake dating job. But, alas, she's just an adjunct professor/theoretical physicist at three different colleges in Boston, all while trying to meet the demands of her mentor. She's also steadily fake dating the nicest guy to help with her bills. When she's given the opportunity to interview for a tenure track professor role at MIT, she's thrilled until she meets her professional arch nemesis - Jack Smith. He made a mockery of her profession and is on the board of this interview. But wait... She's met him. He's the brother of the guy she's fake dating. How the hell is she going to explain that?!

This has some serious build up and incredible tension. I was thoroughly impressed. The build was done so well and both characters were fan-freaking-tastic.
