If it had just been told from Aunt Lydia’s POV, I would’ve given 5 stars. I really enjoyed Agnes Jemima’s POV of growing up in Gilead, however, once she was about to become a Pearl Girl is gets a bit tedious. Daisy’s POV I could’ve done without. I almost felt she was a contradiction in that she was supposed to grow up fast and become this strong-willed teenager but in my opinion she got more immature as the novel progressed. I still recommend this highly because the POV of Aunt Lydia is amazing as well as the POV of a young well-to-do girl growing up in Gilead.
