Funny story. I put this book on hold via the library's website and when it came in, it was the French translation. Now, I took french in high school but it's, ummm, been YEARS. So, I did my best to translate it as I read it to the kids. My translation was okay, but missed the boat towards the end. But, I also went online and re-requested the book and this time made sure the request the ENGLISH edition. The kids liked it much better when I read the English version.
