liked it! a nice look into adoptions and how families morph and can look so different. the writing is good, with distinct voices for each woman. i think seeing which woman readers resonate with gives you an insight into their personalities (im an elizabeth sympathiser) but i think the author's written everyone pretty sympathetically. i loved the depictions of post partum depression, motherhood stress and uncertainty, and realising when you are projecting onto your child. only thing i didnt really like was how robotic (?) the men were, idk the way they were so much flatter than the women and quite "flawless" threw me off abit.
