Maaaannnnnn!!! Brandon Massey you had me locked in from the very beginning. I mean want to talk about a ride. At one point i had to stop the book because i think Brandon was trying to get my BP up 😂.
What do you do with a crazy ex coming back to get what’s hers? Well not what Austin was doing. He had me ready to shake him. Sorry not sorry but Austin was P***Y. He should have had things lined up long time ago. I understand Austin seen things as a child that made him not want to be a certain way when he grew up. Which caused him to forgot fighting for himself. Yes we can’t control people and their actions but at some point when you ignore/brush off things people do to you then you also have to take accountability. Naomi a$$ was bat crazy and her family no better. When a secret came to life i was shocked but not totally surprised. Brook had me a little upset because at one point no one had common sense 🤨? For the most part she was the claim in the storm.
I may not be a parent but i was and still am somebody’s child. When parents leave out details or fail to tell the truth you do more harm than good for you and your child. Yes protect what you love at all cost but to have someone else tell their version of the truth is unacceptable. Children are just young adults that deserve some respect.
Brandon did his thing with this read. Amazing flow, story telling, characters from every angle, and more. May be my first read but won’t be my last.
