A Kinsella book is only one of two things - hit or miss. This one is a real mixed bag, but I would put it in the miss category alongside Twenties Girl and Surprise Me; I found it extremely difficult to get through the first half of this book because both of the leads annoyed me to the point of frustration. Only towards the end did I find myself more engaged, but that may have been because I knew the end was nigh. It’s very much a preferential thing, and if you love Ms. Sophie’s writing no matter what, you will enjoy it. For me, however, it was a frustrating read
