Gerald’s game really executed the horror of being trapped and secret, repressed trauma very well, more than most books I’ve read, and certainly more mature content than any other book I’ve read, however, since this is only 300 pages, it didn’t get much time to build that world, and, because of that, in my opinion, still makes it a bit more underdeveloped than Stephen king’s It, being a 1000 pages, has more time to build its world, thus, making It better than Gerald’s game.
