Family Family is a story of choices and their challenges. India Allwood has always wanted to be a star. She finally has become one. But when she speaks out against her new movie about adoption, things get very complicated. She is at the center of both sides of the adoption issue. India is no stranger to adoption, but the studio executives only see that she is sabotaging their movie with her views. Will India be able to overcome all this negative attention?
What I like most about this story is that it is not the usual adoption trope. Ms Frankel says it best when she writes, "Not all stories of adoption are stories of pain and regret. Not even most of them. Why don't we ever get that movie." Her story is definitely not one of pain and regret. Instead it is about found family and love.
