I originally picked up this book because I saw someone compare it to Below Deck, which I'm majorly obsessed with. I loved that Nina worked as a chief stew and we got to see all of the fun inner workings of the boat. And while that was my main reason for picking it up, I'm glad I picked it up because I got SO much more.

This is a story of love, and loss, and being scared to take chances because you've been burned before. Nina takes such a journey of personal growth and even though she resisted it for so long, once she put in the dang work nothing was going to hold back.

Nina and Ollie were utterly perfect. The glimpses to the past little by little perfectly weave their story into the present day. Those snippets were some of my favorites.

I would love for the author to write like an extended epilogue novella so we can see how Nina and Jo from Love, Lists, and Fancy Ships are doing a few years down the road.
