Jay's Gay Agenda by Jason June
5.0
I saw this book on someone's story on instagram and immediately gravitated towards the cover and synopsis. I read this book with my partner and let me tell you I absolutely loved this one!
Jason June does such a good job crafting unique characters! The whole plot is based off of a list of things that Jay wants to get done as a gay teen boy. It is such a clever idea, as there are many things that an LGBTQ teen wants to do with their new found sexuality. I loved that June focused on Jay wanting to build a connection with people in the LGBTQ community because he has never had the chance to experience it. I loved that there was good talk of consent in this book, along with talks about gender identity and fluidity and the toxicity of the LGBTQ community when it comes to sex. There were so many important conversations throughout this book and cute romantic scenes that this book is too good to not recommend. I highly recommend this book to anyone who like a cute Queer YA romance!
