This was certainly a different read than what I typically gravitate towards, and the first in the Omegaverse genre. I had parts I loved and parts that sort of fell flat for me. The found family aspect and life on the trail were my favorite parts, and there was just enough political intrigue at the end to keep it exciting. I admittedly didn’t grow too attached to any of the characters, and some of the  writing felt a bit repetitive, but all in all it was a good read!
