(Received as an ARC, thank you!) I have read the majority of Ashley's books and adore them all. As soon as you turn the first page, you are whisked off into another world. (Sometimes, I think I wouldn't mind staying there - this leads to quite a few rereads.) I enjoyed the cosy, low-stakes feel to this one although it does contain some darker themes too. And the element of both Em and Sev healing from their trauma was written beautifully. I do live a grumpy/grumpy pairing! The little details like "at midmoon" show just how much thought and care has gone into the crafting the stories. I am excited to continue learning about this world and the other couples in the following 5 books. Right, time to start reading Charm now! I can't wait.
