Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - 2 Book Bundle Collection by J.K. Rowling

4.0

I was not terribly interested in reading this book at first, but when I got it yesterday I found I did not want to put it down. It was intriguing and fun - very simple to read. It's a review of much of the events in the original stories, yet more. All Time Turners have been retrieved and destroyed by The Ministry of Magic - except one. It falls into the wrong hands and visits to the past at crucial moments throw the world into an alternative reality. It's up to Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Ron, and Draco to set things right.

As I was reading I was thinking to myself what an interesting tool a Time Turner could be - who wouldn't love to change a thing or two from their past? And yet as the Hogwarts gang (all grown up) learn, even the slightest shifts make monumental changes. Excellent thought behind this play, written into book format. Not as detailed or lengthy as the original series, but it does not have to be, since we all know the stories. A fun, thought provoking, easy read. I really enjoyed reading it.
