Falling for Prince Charming
by Sophie-Leigh Robbins
This is a really cute book that I wish I loved more. The cover and amusement park setting really drew me in, and definitely made a fun book to read. However, I felt that a few things were lacking. Colton and Elle were both interesting enough characters, but I wish I got a deeper look into their lives. Most of what I know about them is on the surface. I wanted to know more about Colton's dad and I wanted Elle to talk more about Paul (her ex) and why she left Paris.
Another thing that really bothered me was the group of old ladies that came to the amusement park. Colton had stated earlier in the book that those in costumes don't let guests touch them for safety reasons. All of the old ladies made inappropriate comments and innuendos to Colton and he did nothing. In fact, he encouraged them by agreeing to go on the roller coaster enough times to hold all of their hands. I didn't get why it was fine for a group of inappropriate old ladies to touch Colton while at the beginning of the book a four year old girl could not touch him. I mean some of the things that the ladies said were just gross!
Overall, I definitely enjoyed this book and I would by no means say it was badly written or not entertaining. I look forward to reading more by this author.
