I didn’t love this, however I also didn’t hate it, though it felt like a letdown after the first three books in the series. There was a lot of fluff, and the plot itself came across as weak. I did love Alpha and Zephyr, but I enjoyed them more separately than together; their chemistry felt forced. I also didn’t love how Alpha’s feelings at the end seemed more reactionary than genuine. But while I was reading, I really did enjoy myself, and that final twist was pretty impactful. If I think about it too much, my heart starts to hurt again, lol.

I’m still excited to continue the series, but this might end up being my least favorite of the six.
