Killing the Black Body: Race, Reproduction, and the Meaning of Liberty by Dorothy Roberts
5.0
25 years later and this book is still incredibly relevant and impactful. So often our conversations about reproductive freedom focus on the rights of white women, this book takes the time to deconstruct that focus and detail where the fight has completely ignored or negatively impacted the lives of black women. I wouldn't be exaggerating to say this has been the most influential book I've read this year.
