I think these books get better and better. This is the final book in the Katori chronicles and I thought it ended really well.
Keegan is trying to bring the Katori race into power but Kai and his group want peace and for everyone to be able to live together. Keegan unites with an enemy of Kai's people and causes trouble and destruction in his mission to draw out Kai and get him to join him.
Kai has more pressing issues that eat at him in this adventure and he has to pull out all the stops to save his mother and prevent Keegan from completing his goal.
A lot happens in this final book, it's fast paced and full of action. A worthy ending to the series.
