Pretty Rings and Broken Things by Kat Singleton

5.0

Kat Singleton has done it again! Just when I thought I couldn’t add another favorite book boyfriend to the roster, Archer Moore has to come along and blow everyone out of the water.

I greatly enjoyed this book! Archer and Winnie are SUCH a cute couple with a fun banter-filled dynamic that kept me hooked every page of the way. Not only did they have physical chemistry, but they also had personality chemistry which is so important when writing a couple that’s supposed to go from family enemies to romance. On their own, they are both fantastic characters, but together Archer and Winnie were the definition of a power couple.

Archer Moore is 100% that obsessed male main and I was living for it. He appreciates his wife (and enjoys saying “my wife”) and was willing to drop to his knees for her if that’s what she wanted. With all of this starting out as an arrangement, that’s what one loves to see as we watch it becoming more real on both sides. I vastly enjoyed seeing him worship the ground Winnie walked on and treating her like the b@d@ss she really is!

And the spice! As I said, these characters have emotional chemistry, but that doesn’t mean they had it as the detriment to physical! They had loads of physical chemistry and my did Archer know what to say! Kat loves doing chapters of spicy scenes and I am here for it!!

I am so glad that this universe didn’t stay a true standalone because there is so much I want to know and see! I want to see the side characters find happily ever afters and I want to see more of Winnie and Archer living their best lives. This book is an A+ for me and I cannot wait to see what’s next!

Thank you so much for the ARC, Kat! It was brilliant in every way!!
