You Shouldn't Have Come Here by Jeneva Rose

2.0

I feel like this book had an identity crisis. Was it a steamy romance? was it a thriller?
The main characters had to many contradictory actions that didn’t pan out. Like Grace—she’s from NY and not easily scared but at the same time super trusting, creeped out by the gas station guy and believes the complete stranger she’s known for 2 days. And Calvin. Incident farm boy, but also left the farm and is worldly??
I know that the author was trying to keep the truth hidden, but in doing so it left me frustrated and the tension never really built.
