I was really excited about this book, but it ended up just being okay for me. It was pretty fast-paced without a lot of character development since there were so many secondary characters (the game players whose actions didn't really matter). I didn't like Cy's character and it was kind of difficult to connect with and like Kaitlyn, especially once she turned out to be someone else. The ending was pretty interesting, but by then I kind of just wanted the book to be over. It wasn't a bad book; it just didn't end up being as exciting as I was expecting it to be after the description compared it to Michael Crichton.
