I decided to not continue my second read through.
I remember enjoying my first read through, but noticed small things that felt off. It being something new, I just let it go. The second time around though, made it kind of hard to get through. Dialogue felt very "teenager's first story". World building felt awkward. The side characters were enjoyable, but also felt one dimensional. The "romance" in the book, didn't even feel like that. It was just angry pent up sex. I'm pretty sure it feels more grounded in the second book. I just could not be bothered to continue. It also just didn't grip me as recent books that I've read.
