What I really like about Zen Cho is the dialogue and weird language games that come of moving lightly and sharply between language and dialect, and as a result I don't like this series as much, because the Regency-reminiscent posturing kills that. It's still a good little adventure story. Everyone has a good time. Occasionally the upper crust Britishness goes a bit twee, but it feels like you're in on the joke. It's not *as good*, but it's good.
