Might have set this book on a pedestal before reading, and was pleasantly surprised it matched it quite well. My first time meeting an Emily Henry boy and was deliciously not disappointed.
What I didn't expect however, was how much the female lead impacted my own personal emotions as if trying to scavenge inside my heart and pick, pluck, and pull at my own strings. Relating to her softened something inside of me. What a terrifying and wonderful experience of being known.
