One is a Promise by Pam Godwin

I am not going to rate this book as I did not finish it. I got to chapter 11 and threw in the towel.

I do like love triangle romances, especially those with an air of mystery so I thought this book was right up my alley.

The fmc is a belly dancer at a bar when a handsome casino owner comes to her with a job offer. The fmc lost her fiancée in a accident overseas ( or did he?) and she mourns that relationship.

The attraction between the casino owner ( who I'm not sure is the mmc because I am aware the ex fiancee is very much alive may be the mmc) and the fmc is instant and it was just a matter of time until she falls into bed and business with him.

The writing was solid but I just couldn't connect emotionally beyond lust and attraction to t he relationship between the fmc and the casino owner. Even the description of the relationship between her and the supposed dead fiancee seemed more insta lust and not deep.

I wasn't excited enough to finish the book or see who she chooses.
