And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

4.0

"No artist, I now realize, can be satisfied with art alone. There is a natural craving for recognition which cannot be gainsaid. I have, let me confess it in all humility, a pitiful human wish that someone should know just how clever I have been..."

This was my first Agatha Christie novel and I really have no idea what has taken me so long to pick her books up. The mystery was fun and the writing easy to read and absorb. It felt like I was watching a drama unfold before my eyes. The conclusion was excellent.
