4.5. This is the second book in the All souls series that started with A Discovery of Witches. This series reminds me so much of the Outlander series by Galbadon except with witches and vampires. They are both very heavy in history. And both deal with time travel. I love Diana and Matthew's story. It was amazing to see real life people in history involved in their story. Almost perfect book. Just sometimes the history is dense and there are sooooo many characters. Real and imaginary. Found out after I read the book that Harkness had a glossary in the back with all the characters.
