despite having already seen the anime prior to reading this, vol. 1 of spy x family is hilarious nevertheless. i rly applaud endo for crafting such a well-balanced story of high stakes action, comedy and fantastic characters, a rollicking ride thats simply *chef's kiss*.
the art's great as well, w/ rly good paneling and composition (most of the time) that complement the action and maximize impact on the reader. the book's seemingly effortless blend of comedy, action and emotional moments are a rare find tbh, and im so happy for its success!
