I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella

3.0

I'm not one to read a lot of chic lit but I was recommended this by a family member and thought i'd give it a go. I listened to the audio, and the reader was really fun and overall I was pleased. I saw the movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic and this kind of followed the same routine as plots go. It was light and fluffy and the main character...even with all her good intentions...was kind of a bit of a scatter brain and was always getting herself into trouble. And could she not see the writing on the wall? (insert head shake) BUT It was good just nothing special. I didn't feel the romance had a depth I usually like to find between two characters. I like my fair share of chick flicks, but I think i'll stick to movies instead of reading them in book form.

**this also had its FAIR SHARE of swearing. (quite a lot of F words.) I'm usually not a stickler but there was a point in this book that I almost stopped reading because of it. Although I have heard that it is not as big of a deal in England as it is here in the US.
