The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

4.0

I was so close to giving this one 3.5 in the beginning, I think because of how long it took me to get into it and it was just all a bit confusing and vague. I get that that was the point, but only to a degree. It did turn things around a little in the last 100 pages for me.

I kept getting the names Grayson and Jameson mixed up because the names are so similar and I honestly forget who is who to be truthful.
I loved Nash and Xander’s characters more than the main two grandsons.
I liked Avery but she also had no depth to her at all at the same time?

I loved the premise and how it was executed although slightly deflated with the big reveal, but still good
I think my main issue was struggling to get into it because the family is quite big and there is a fair few characters that it took time to learn them all and remember who is who
But once the puzzles were being completed and everything it was definitely more enjoyable
