Holy Island by L.J. Ross
4.0

Lindisfarne is only reachable twice a day, the causeway being cut off by the sea at high tide, so when a body is found, laid out in ceremonial style at the priory, it is quickly apparent that the perpetrator must still be on the island. As Ryan and his team investigate there are plenty of twists and turns on the way to keep the reader guessing. The ending left me with raised eyebrows, so I'll definitely read the next at some stage, to find out what happens there!
