π©Έ those who know me, know that i love fast paced books with lots of spice and tension. and this novella really hit that spot. π©
π½ i was so drawn to the cover - the social media promotion of the tropes, characters and whole premise of this book made me so excited to read it!
πΈ the writing of this book is amazing, i found it so easy to read and i loved how both main characters had a distinctive voice and personality. i was so invested in the characters.
π©Έ i loved Mayaβs sweetness and Torinβs grumpiness. even though the story was insta-lust, it worked well within the story and I still found it believable.
(i almost cried at the end but then again i am a very emotional person so please no judgement π)
π i was so interested with all the sci-fi references and cultural differences between Maya and Torin. iβm glad these differences were addressed in a comedic way, as it made the story more understandable and interesting.
π€ i loved the dialogue, chemistry, and banter between the characters. the spicy scenes were actually some of the best written scenes iβve ever read!!
πͺ if youβre looking for a fast paced, fun and a (very) spicy read, i recommend picking up this book! you can grab yourself a copy after the 4th of september.
