The Ruin of a Rake
by Cat Sebastian
lighthearted
slow-paced
extremely, extremely insta-lust. they are doing nefarious things at the opera on like page 60. but i read regency romance novels for people being horny and besotted with each other so like 🤷🏻♀️
i find these characters so delightful, especially Julian and Eleanor! i can always depend on Cat Sebastian concocting some really strange and endearing characters, and the siblings in this book were especially dear to me.
i do feel like the ending was wrapped up a wee bit too fast for my liking. some of the conflict was resolved too easily and in a way that wasn't so satisfying. but overall, i liked it a lot.
