Shiori Ito is one of the bravest women, period. I felt that way after watching her documentary, "Black Box Diaries," and I feel that after reading her book, "Black Box." She not only uses the book to make her case and try to beat her rapist in the court of public opinion, but she also uses it to try and suggest myriad changes to the Japanese legal system and Japanese society in the hopes that nobody has to go through what she went through ever again.
