Defining the Rules by Mariah Dietz

5.0

This could totally be read as a stand-alone, but honestly, start at the beginning and fall in love with all of these characters, same as I did. I love Arlo. There was so much potential for him to be a jerk, but instead he was just himself, in all capacities.
This slow burn gave me the friendship, the curiosities of crossing the line, and then the goodness after they did.
Solving the mystery, coping with grief, learning who you are, we got it all with this story, and I was so thrilled with its turnout.
Now.
I need a Paxton book. And a Rose book. And my goodness, just this whole crew honestly. There’s so much more to delve into. And I can’t wait for any of it.
