This was a good book--a little random at times. The narrator's perspective changed from chapter to chapter so the story was a little disorienting, but all in all it was a good, quick read.
The review on the back called it a coming-of-age story. I suppose that's right, although most of the time the book seemed less about the main character and more about the people in her life. There were many elements of magic and fantasy in this book, which kept it interesting.
