a pretty unique story inspired by the mystery of Flannan Isle, and I overall really enjoyed reading. 

sometimes it was hard to keep up because the scenes kept switching between flashbacks and present too quickly. Also some plot points weren’t fully resolved
like when Kite tells Wellesley about Fred’s death and it just doesn’t get addressed in any way
but other than that, a really captivating and enjoyable read
