I can't reveal what I didn't like about this book without spoiling it, but it was just a plot point I wasn't that into. Minor. This is really a 4.5 that I wasn't ready to round up to 5.
Also, the sex scene in this was a lot more detailed and racy than before, and I didn't love this change. I mean, yes, I read a lot of paranormal romance that has explicit detail, but one of the things I liked about Kalayna Price was that she didn't need to go there with Alex Craft. Not everyone who ventures into urban fantasy needs to turn it up a notch with the sex.
