Just wow. I loved the end of this series so much. Just the way Jalan grows through the three books is spectacular. He grows to be someone else entirely compared to the first book but is very much so the Jalan we would introduced to running from Lisa DeVeers bedroom.
This book didn't leave me wanting more and usually this is a bad thing but in this case very much so a good thing. We know Jalan will be up to his old games but maybe a little wiser or maybe at least craftier.
Mark Lawrence has captured me through 2 whole series with the broken empire and this one. Now onto the Ancestor series!
