Dear Evelyn is an emotional read about a young working-class young man Harry who falls in love with the young women Evelyn. Life happens, war is fought, daughters are born and their relationship changes as home battles are fought and challenges faced. The problem as Harry sees it.... I am not giving in - “it was doing what he could to make thing work. He could bend, she could not.” It is truly a love story with twists and turns and an uncomfortable tone as age settles in and their love faces yet one last challenge.
