Flirting With Forever by Claire Kingsley

2.0

The relationship between the H and h felt very shallow. It felt more like lust than love, even at the end.

There’s not much I hate more than the miscommunication trope. Instead of communicating like an adult, the hero would leave and avoid the heroine. Grow up please. It was unbelievably frustrating.

The plot was VERY predictable. At 60% I already knew exactly what the final conflict was going to be, which made me lose all interest. There isn’t anything original or intriguing about this book, at all.

The saving grace was Riley (the H’s daughter). She’s by far my favourite character and I loved her relationship with the h.
