I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. I find most of Ali’s books exhausting half way through. I read Eli and Rues book and I honestly couldn’t tell you a single thing about them. But Maya? An absolute firecracker, sarcastic and brave and short tempered. I adored her. I see myself in her.
Conor had legitimate reasons for holding back, finally a believable reason two characters can’t be together.
And the TENSION? The YEARNING? Good god. Not me giggling and kicking my feet just because they finally fucking held hands. Incredible.
This was the perfect summer romance novel, I have no notes, nothing could be improved here. Love it.
