This one came so highly recommended and now I fully understand why. It's Edwardian baronet down on his luck in a new job getting completely thrown in the deep end. It’s about showing someone magic and having them be so interested in the things you say, for the first time really. It’s about growing beyond who your family made you (or made you think you are). It’s about solving a mystery and also the horrors of watching someone in pain when you can’t figure out what to do about it. It’s Literally about trusting someone with your heart and all that you are. Trust me this book is so fucking good and fun.

“You look like a Turner painting and I want to learn your textures with my fingertips. You are the most fascinating thing in this beautiful house. I'd like to introduce my fists to whoever taught you to stop talking about the things that interest you.” <--- this literally killed me. this is like every autistic person’s most dreamy romantic sentence ever. Robin’s strong and sweet support of Edwin throughout REALLY got to me.
