This book contains a hostage/enemies-to-lover(s) trope and mafia/gang storyline, and definitely had more gore than the other dark romances I’ve read. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but felt it was a bit too lengthy. Some parts felt a little unnecessary, and the ending was a little too cheesy in my opinion.
