A Nearly Normal Family by M.T. Edvardsson
5.0
A Nearly Normal Family was had the perfect blend of dysfunctional family dynamic, physiological suspense, and legal aspects to make the perfect story.
Stella is accused of murdering a much older wealthy man, who is also her boyfriend. Her parents are shocked by this news. Stella is not capable of murder or is she? Stella's parents, father is a pastor and the mother is a lawyer, appear to be upstanding members of society and portray that image nicely but behind the scenes what is really going on with this family. They are not so perfect. What lies are they all holding onto? More importantly is Stella capable and did she actually murder this man?
I was kept guessing on what was really going on but figured it out about halfway through. I found the father to be quite annoying. I did not care for the parents as much as I did Stella. Overall, I really enjoyed this one.
